Flash News: Romain Gauthier Logical One Red Secret

By Thierry Ané on March 24, 2014

If you follow the innovations form the watch industry, you have probably not missed the stunning Logical One introduced last year in red gold or platinum by Romain Gauthier.

This technical wonder uses a chain-and-fusée style constant force system with ruby chain links, ergonomic push button winding system, dial-side visible balance, mainspring barrel with sapphire inserts, plus a 60-hour power reserve indicator.

This multi-patented piece won the Best Men’s Complications Watch award at the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. For 2014, the watch comes back in unexpected High Jewellery versions that add glamour to an already sophisticated model.

Now labelled “Logical One Secret”, the new renditions feature a beautifully crafted red gold cover that hides the technical beauty of the chain-and-fusée system and only leaves visible the black guilloché sub-dials for the time indications.

Surprisingly, without its inner workings on full display, the watch remains the centre of attention thanks to the sparkling reflections caused by the invisibly set baguette diamonds or rubies that adorn the cover and the lugs of this splendid timepiece making it the perfect blend of Haute Horology and High Jewellery!

Have a look at the watch specification pages below for the technical description of both models and stay tuned for our post-Basel in-depth presentation with live pictures.
