Flash News: H. Moser & Cie Venturer Collection

By Thierry Ané on March 24, 2014

This year H. Moser & Cie introduces a new collection inspired by traditional pocket watches with designs cues borrowed from the Bauhaus era of the 1920s and convex shapes reminiscent of the 1960s. The first model of a collection destined to expand is the Venturer Small Seconds, a very refined 39 mm watch with a small seconds indication at 6 o’clock and a sectorial power reserve on the back.

Three versions will be unveiled during Baselworld, all with a red gold case mounted on a brown alligator strap secured by a red gold pin buckle. The first version features the brand’s iconic fumé dial realised in red gold this time while the remaining two alternatives use an ardoise (slate grey) or silver sunburst motif.

Inside these elegant timepieces beats a new manufacture heart: the in-house HM C 327 calibre with Straumann hairspring and stabilised Breguet overcoil. This manually-wound movement with 3 days of power reserve is adorned by large Côtes de Genève decorations and received the company hallmark engraved in gold to vouch for its impeccable finishing.

Have a look at the watch specification pages below for the technical description of these models and stay tuned for our post-Basel in-depth presentation with live pictures.
