Flash News: Arnold & Son TBTE Tourbillon

By Thierry Ané on March 16, 2015

The novelty

How many great timepieces can this small but unbelievably creative brand present every year? Part of the Royal Collection, the TBTE Tourbillon is another refined model to be officially unveiled by Arnold & Son during Baselworld this year.

Main features

In the usual 44 mm red gold case with beautiful finish, the watchmaking team has placed the new A&S8503 manually-wound calibre featuring a tourbillon escapement and the trademark true beat seconds.

The open-worked dial boasts a sumptuous guilloché pattern reminiscent of a motif found on the cases of antique Arnold & Son pocket watches and an uncluttered view of the “inverted” movement and its vertical layout.

Magnificent bridges and wheels take centre stage on this creation and showcase the brand’s immense technical and aesthetic expertise!

First impressions

Truthful to the magnificent aesthetics that have come to define Arnold & Son’s models and featuring yet another refined calibre developed in-house with a signature “English” design and the dead-beat second complication. Everything needed to be another extremely successful introduction…
