App: Watches of 2014 for iPhone and iPad
By Thierry Ané on December 8, 2013
As a Watch Agora reader, chances are you are also familiar with our app “Watches of 2013”. Developed for iPhones and iPads, the application keeps you informed all year long of the new watch releases. In real time the app updates automatically to include the new timepieces we add as soon as they are unveiled. Since January we have already featured 2 073 timepieces from 190 brands. This means nearly six new watches a day on average!
This successful app follows last year’s edition, “Watches of 2012”, which you can also download if you have not done so yet. It is a great source of information (1 940 watches from 192 brands) on models that are available now.
These apps are very intuitive to use and show you directly and only what you want to see: the homepage lists all the brands for which watches are already available, as you can see with the following snapshot of “Watches of 2013”:
Just tap on the brand you want to see, say Hublot, and you will end up on the page listing all the models that were released during the year:
Select the model you are interested in and you will have access to its technical file:
Of course, with a simple tap you will access the pictures of the watch.
Our apps have many other interesting features that you will easily discover by yourself. To name a few, you will be able to sort watches by many criteria (for instance, the size or the price), and you will be able to compare several models.
If you are serious about watches, there is nothing comparable on the market. No other app, or web site for that matter (except Watch Agora of course!), gives you such an easy, direct and standardized access to all new high-end timepieces. It is the perfect complement to Watch Agora if you don’t want to miss anything about the watch industry.
With some pre-SIHH releases already available, it is time to launch “Watches of 2014”. The app is already on the App Store. Downloading it now is the only way to be sure that, day after day, you will receive all the news from the watch world and that you won’t miss a single novelty.
One last piece of information: we also have a few apps dedicated to iconic models with more information than what you will find in the non-specialized apps:
You should check them out too!
